Not working out=Watching what I eat

Ever have those days where it's just not feasible to get a workout in? Well, that's me this week. Tuesday night, we visited my husband's brother, wife, and new baby girl as we hadn't seen the baby since she was born 3 weeks ago. Tonight as I type, I'm waiting for my night class to start. Tomorrow night, my 4th graders have their music program and Friday night, our school's carnival happens and I volunteered (was expected of us) to sell tickets during part of it.

Makes me sad I can't work out because I have to put a huge effort into watching everything I eat this week. Not that I don't otherwise, but when I know I won't be burning said 300-800 calories, I've gotta be watchful.

But alas, I digress. I'm stressed out with some work situations, so I'm trying to find other ways to cope rather than eating my emotions. So far, so good.

  1. Is it possible to get a quick 20-minute workout in the AM? Or can you walk the halls (or outside) during lunch? Just a few ideas. If anything, do some squats, lunges and pushups at your desk. :) I hate to break it to you, but this is life. Life will always be busy! :) You can make it work. And GREAT JOB not emotional eating!!
